Travel Grants to FENS Forum 2010!
The Brain Research Society of Finland is pleased to announce 4 grants, 500 € each, for its student members to support travel and accommodation expenses for the FENS Forum 3.-7.7.2010 in Amsterdam.

JAN KUJALA D.Sc.(Tech.) was acknowledged by the Novartis Neuroscience for the best thesis in the field of neurosciences 2008.
The thesis of Dr. Jan Kujala entitled "Study of cortical rhythmic activity and connectivity with magnetoencephalography" is focused on revealing basic characteristics of rhythmic activity in the brain, and rhythmic interactions between different cortical areas. (Link to the abstract) The laboratory studies for the thesis were carried out in the Low Temperature Laboratory at Helsinki University of Technology. The thesis was supervised by professor Risto Ilmoniemi and the Academy professor Riitta Salmelin from Helsinki University of Technology.
